- Vina pockets the CPU (maybe the Hawks have a personal safe in with their equipment?).
"He might be referring to something in the Korugaran religions or even their understanding of psychology. I wouldn't worry about it too much.... Hey, I wonder if any bystanders got hurt when this went down?"
She flies to investigate.
One thing she is not doing is giving the CPU to President Luthor. Maybe it's her hippie upbringing, but something about his suited self strikes a false note with her.
And, darn. She realizes she never got the dark wig and is still her natural platinum blonde self. - JimBob stretches a hand behind Quinn and holds it up, making it appear as though he has his hand up.
"Right. I should have figured YOU could handle the red rage of Atrocitus," says Roy equably, and passes the red energy right over to Quinn.
"If you're going to flip out and become evil, give us a little monologuing as a heads-up!" Roy suggests. "Okay, my ring says there are no other threats in the immediate area. There's a gorilla robbing the Metropolis Zoo -- never mind, Flash got him. And I see Mirror Master's made a duplicate of Detroit -- well, no, Flash took care of that, too. And there was a traffic jam on I-70. Does anyone want to guess who fixed that problem? Gosh, maybe this justice stuff isn't going to be that hard."
Quinn is tired and needs some protein. "Anybody got a slim jim? Maybe a peanut bar? I've got to rest for a minute." He lays down on George Washington's head, pulls the shield over him, and waits for Roy and JB to tell him what to do.

Chin-Su will take the opportunity to investigate the secret robotics laboratory, to see if he can find anything cool.

ReplyDeleteVina and JimBob are in the lab. Just wanted to make that clear ... it's okay, there aren't any other enemies! Heh.
DeleteBut there are lots of different kinds of robots. There's a red android with a purple cape and blank robot eyes, a realistic woman with a green leotard and a transparent skull (although her hair can be brushed to cover it) and even a yellow sphere with a silver base labelled "COMPUTO: 30th-century supervillain. Do not activate." Beside the latter is a battery and some jumper cables.
Oh, and I should mention, there are some guards. They're groggy, as if knocked out recently.
