A Solution -- And A Dilemma!

Vina flies around Amazo at superspeed (assuming her wings/Supes ability can handle that) putting out the fire and then flies superfast to a perch out of his eyeshot. Then she makes the calls.

JimBob has no choice but to let go, lest he be turned into something resembling the mozzarella topping a pizza fresh out of the oven. He maintains the wherewithal to shout "I RELEASE THE SPELL" as he does, in case he needs to play the "magic" card again later.

Quinn, who is still holding tightly to the shield and now swinging wildly in open space, will try to use his momentum to pull the shield to an angle where it will, perhaps, reflect Amazo's beams back at himself.

Amazo, the One-Man Justice League

While he's doing this he will shout, "whooaaaoooaaa!" and flail about, hoping that Amazo will decide the shield is more trouble than it's worth and drop it.

He does, indeed, tilt the shield just right!

ZZZAP! Amazo's heat beams bathe Amazo himself in fire.

Amazo cuts off the heat beam. Simultaneously, Sinstro and Roy hit Amazo with bolts of yellow and green energy.

"On my mark, Lantern!" Sinestro shouts. "Combine our strength to overcome Amazo's resistance --"

"Impossible!" Amazo declares. "It is for this exact circumstance I was created -- to battle the entire Justice League at once! And as I have all your powers, past and present, it is impossible for you to overpower me, as A cannot be greater than A!"

"Here we go with the objectivism," Roy grumbles. "Sinestro, how about it?"

"This mechanical conglomerate has not the wit for deception," Sinestro declares Shakespeareanly. "His boasting may well be based on fact. How did the League defeat Amazo before?"

This, at last, is something Roy knows!

"Right!" he chimes. "Besides the time Superman used time travel, Amazo's been beaten twice by the League .. once by deliberately losing the battle, and once by using ... hey! They used YOUR ring, Sinestro! Amazo has all of our powers, but therefore all of our weaknesses ..."

And SLAM! Amazo flies right up to Roy and punches him out!

"Martian telepathy allows me to see what you are thinking. And as it may lead to a method to destroy me, I cannot allow you to speak it aloud!"

Sinestro tries making yellow sword blades to slice Amazo up, but they don't do anything.

"You can indeed penetrate my green Power Ring aura," Amazo says, "but I still possess the endurance of Superman, who cannot be harmed by your ring."

Roy, hanging limply in Amazo's grasp, is out. He cannot say anything.
