Kasumi glances around. Can she see where she left Green Lantern? Hoping that he might wake up. Could use backup.
Sighing, she moves towards where he fell, lasso in hand. If she can go by where her tiara fell, she will glance to see if any of it is left, or it is entirely melted into a twisted mess.
Actually, the narrator's placement of adjectives is at fault here. The tiara is fine, unblemished. It's the rock that it fell onto which melted.
Green Lantern is coming around, but groggy. A brisk shake or palm on the brow would probably bring him back to consciousness.
But she can't do that AND recover Zipperneck at the same time ...

If the tiara can be picked up out of the melted rock, she will do so...otherwise, she will just have to figure that out later.
ReplyDeleteKasumi will take a very quick moment to kneel and pat the cheek of Green Lantern while calling to him gently, because--as this is her very first day superheroing--she feels a bit out of her league and might need the help/guidance.
Then she speeds off toward the miscreant without looking back to see if Green Lantern is awake.
