See! SEE the Bounties of the Glorious Kryptonite!

  1. Quinn, who's fallen to the ground with Amazo, will free his shield and *WHAAAANG!* Amazo with it on the head. So, so hard.
  2. From where she's wobbily perched, Vina will shoot Amazo with an arrow. The kind that goes boom.
  3. "Interesting idea JimBob had", Roy says to himself. "I wonder if it'll have any side affects? Oh well!" Then he goes back to the task at hand, which is weakening Amazo until someone with A Plan finishes him off.
  4. So the question of the hour is: can an exploding arrow, an Olympian shield, Sinestro's Power Ring, and Roy's Power Ring overpower the combined toughness of Wonder Woman and all them other guys, although weakened by Kryptonite?
  5. (Since there aren't any other assets to hand, the answer better be YES ...)
Yes, they can! Amazo flops over and lies, inert.

Now Sinestro power-beams him with a yellow microscope, locating and extracting pulsating globules of pure super-power.

"My ring is whole again!" he exults, firing an erupting beam of pure triumph skyward. If this is what his full power looks like ... wow, we were lucky to defeat him the first time. It's brighter than the sun!

"And this for you," he says, separating out some green nodules and sending them sliding towards Roy, whose Power Ring absorbs them. Roy suddenly wakes up.

"Who, what, where?" he expostulates, noting that his hand has two arms leading to it.

The ring locks onto the correct Roy, and JimBob remembers that he's JimBob.

"These, I think, are yours," he says, sending a winged lightning bolt and a series of blue and red micro-stars orbiting each other like a yin-yang wheel to Vina. She finds the illness much reduced, and can stand up again.

"The Flash is not here, so this red energy can be allowed to dissipate harmlessly ..." says Sinestro. "Or contained in a vessel capable of storing and extracting the pure essence of Speed! If I can imagine it, my ring must do it!"

It does. Seems a Speed Bottle is oblong, with a long neck bent over on itself that disappears through the bottom of the bottle.

Who knew?

"And this flrey red energy belongs to Atrocitus, head of the Red Lantern Corps. He will live a long and painful life before he sees any of THIS again!" And Sinestro absorbs the red energy into himself. His ring takes on a red tinge, like a flaming red vein running through the gold. It's kind of icky.

"Now that Amazo has served his purpose, I shall disassemble him, so as to prevent any further interference in my plans," says Sinestro. "Unless you replacement heroes have an objection, remembering that Amazo is but a machine, with no more right to survival than a levitation-raft or a seven-tined interocitor?"

  1. JimBob frowns. "So... The plan is to take scads of power from the AMORAL dude, and give it to the EVIL dude? No offense, of course, Sinestro..."

  2. "Thank you," Vina says as she absorbs her power.
    "I'll take his CPU..."
